Dr. Roberto Di Pietro

Academic Professor at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST).

He is a professor of Computer Science at KAUST, started his career as a senior technical officer at the Italian Ministry of Defense. He led cybersecurity research labs and served as the Global Head of Cybersecurity Research at Bell Labs. He received in 2020 Jean-Claude Laprie Award and holds memberships in scientific and industrial boards. His research focuses on critical infrastructure protection, blockchain technology, and distributed systems security.
