The Royal Saudi Naval Forces have announced the commencement of registration for the Third Saudi International Maritime Forum, which will be held at the Dhahran Expo Center in the Eastern Province from November 19 to 21. Forum spokesperson, Naval Colonel Ali Al Ali, confirmed that interested participants can register via the forum's official website, www.simrsnf.com, or through the dedicated mobile application. The registration is open to maritime specialists from around the world, including military, scientific, and technological experts, as well as CEOs of maritime companies and regulatory bodies that play a crucial role in shaping maritime policies and standards. Held under the theme "Maritime Security in the Age of Artificial Intelligence - Trends and Threats," the forum aims to strengthen the concept of maritime security, foster knowledge-based experience exchange among naval leaders, highlight the importance of modern systems in the maritime field, discuss concepts of international maritime

The Third Saudi International Maritime Forum Discusses 5 Key Pillars of Maritime Security in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

The Third Saudi International Maritime Forum, organized by the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, will take place from November 19 to 21 in the Eastern Province. It will bring together global military experts, academics, and specialists to address five key topics, including the development of smart strategies to enhance maritime operations and predict security threats in the era of artificial intelligence. Discussions will focus on establishing regulations for safe and effective AI adoption in maritime operations, examining the impact of modern systems on maritime security while addressing cyber threats, and preparing skilled personnel for modern maritime systems to tackle future challenges. The forum will also explore the future of military industries through the application of AI in advancing technologies. Alongside sessions and workshops, the event will feature an exhibition showcasing the latest maritime security technologies, with participation from international experts and leading companies.

Under the patronage of HRH Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Defense, the Chief of the General Staff, General Fayyad bin Hamed Al-Ruwaili, inaugurated the Third Saudi International Maritime Forum in the Eastern Province under the theme: “Maritime Security in the Age of Artificial Intelligence – Trends and Threats.” The event began with a Quran recitation, followed by a speech from Vice Admiral Mohammed Al-Ghoraibi, Commander of the Royal Saudi Naval Forces, highlighting the Kingdom’s commitment to international peace and security. The forum gathers global experts to discuss maritime security challenges and AI-driven solutions. Attendees viewed a presentation on the forum’s objectives and sessions, followed by the opening of an exhibition featuring cutting-edge maritime security technologies. The event was attended by senior officials and representatives from allied nations.
