His Excellency Dr. Rumaih Al-Rumaih, is The Deputy Minister of Transport and Logistics Services and The President of the Public Transport Authority, he has over 25 years of experience in the public and private sectors between the executive and operational management, he helds multiple leadership positions. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado and an MBA from the University of Leicester, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from King Saud University. He began his career at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology, before moving to the private sector, where he served as Vice President of the Gulf Training Company in 2002. He became the CEO of the Saudi Railways Company (SAR) in 2010 and was appointed President of the Public Transport Authority in 2016, a position he still holds. He also holds several leadership roles, including Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Technical Institute for Railways and the Saudi Logistics Academy. He participates in several councils, such as the Board of the Public Transport Authority and the Board of the Zakat, Tax, and Customs Authority. Additionally, he is actively involved in supervisory and executive committees, as well as specialized conferences in the transportation and logistics sector.
