Dr. Hesham Shageer is the General Manager of the Research and Development Institute for Deep Sea Exploration at the King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST). He holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering with a focus on control systems from the University of Virginia, USA. He has extensive experience in developing space technologies and has previously served as an advisor at the Saudi Space Agency. Dr. Hesham oversees numerous research and development projects in advanced marine technologies and intelligent space systems.
