Nabil A. Al-Nuaim has over 30 years’ experience in oil and gas, renewable energy, power industries, digital technologies, business transformation, engineering, investment origination and management, both in Saudi Arabia and abroad. Nabil is currently the Senior VP of Digital & Information Technology (D&IT) at Saudi Aramco since January 1, 2023. Prior to this, he was the Chief Digital Officer leading the company’s Digital Transformation Office. Nabil is responsible for driving the company’s Digital & IT business strategies including maintaining and operating a reliable and secure IT infrastructure, deploying digital and AI solutions, leading digital investments across Saudi Aramco value chain and building a skilled digital workforce. Nabil founded Aramco Digital Company (ADC) and he is currently a member on the Board of Directors. Nabil also is the chairman of the board of directors of Cyberani and the chairman of the National IT Academy (NITA). Additionally, Nabil led digital investments and localization efforts resulting in 2 major investments in the Kingdom attracting investments and digital leaders like Google and Zoom. Nabil established and accelerated Aramco’s generative AI journey, namely through initiatives branded as aramcoMETABRAIN. Furthermore, Nabil has created the Saudi Accelerated Innovation Lab (SAIL) which is a national hub to accelerate innovation and spur multi-disciplinary global digital initiatives. Nabil previously served as Aramco’s Senior VP of Corporate Affairs, Saudi Aramco’s Community Services Senior Vice President, and President & CEO of Aramco Asia Company. Nabil holds both a Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from King Fahad University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) and Texas A&M University respectively. He also obtained an MBA from MIT Sloan Business School.
